Cinco de Mayo

In honor of Cinco de Mayo and my love of Tequila. I'm throwing it back to the Tequila bedroom I designed in Palm Beach. When I see this room all I want is sunshine and a refreshing drink in my hand. I just love the bright colors, shiny hardwood floors and the wishfulness of summer and better yet my favorite homemade Tequila cocktail.

Tequila Me Up

1] Grab yourself a good bottle of Tequila. I do not measure unless I have too. I am Italian so we pour and say that looks good! But for this 1-2 shots will do just fine.

2] Grab your Shaker, add some ice

3] A few squeezes of Lime Juice or Fresh Limes

4] I really like Lime seltzer, but you can use anything with fizz- roughly 4 oz.

5] Shake Shake Shake, then strain into your fancy glass, line the rim with a lime or salt if you'd like

6] Relax and Enjoy [ 21 years old of course] If you want to live on the edge, add a few jalapeños or some juice and you'll get a little kick of flavor. [ mind-over-batter.com image or check out their version of a jalapeno kick]
